On Thursday 18th December, Rossendale Hospice was delighted to welcome our wonderful volunteers for a special evening dedicated to celebration and heartfelt thanks.

Volunteers are at the very heart of Rossendale Hospice. With around 200 amazing individuals generously giving their time, energy, and compassion, their support plays a vital role in helping us care for patients and families when they need us most. From fundraising and retail to patient support and behind-the-scenes roles, their dedication makes an immeasurable difference every single day, and quite simply, we couldn’t do what we do without them.

The evening was a chance to bring many of our volunteers together in one room, giving them time to relax, reconnect, and be recognised for their incredible contribution. It was truly special to see so many familiar faces enjoying each other’s company and sharing stories, laughter, and gratitude.

Guests enjoyed drinks, delicious nibbles, thoughtful gifts, and of course, plenty of cake, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere that reflected the spirit of our volunteer community.
