It's entirely up to you! Some of our volunteers dedicate a a few regular hours a week, whereas others offer their time on an ad-hoc basis for events or special days.

Our chairty shops ar a great source of income for Rossendale Hospice and help raise our profile in the community.
We always need volunteers to help serve customers, sort through donations and make our shop look its best.

BUT... there are lots of other wys to thelp too..

Whatever your skills are, we're sure you can bring them to the Hospice.

We're always looking for people to help with:

• Driving patients to therapies
• Fundraising at events 
• Administrative Support
• Hospice Reception
• Wellbeing hospitality and refreshments
• Befriending

Whatever you have to offer, whenever you can offer it, we can turn your time into a valuable contribution.

Absolutely.
If you or your business has something you'd like to offer us free of charge, we'd love to accept.

We have volunteer complimentary therapists, hairdressers, nutritionists and artists who have all helped out with our Wellbeing sessions.

We've also benefitted from people offering gardening, decorating and printing and video services for free too. If it's your own enterprise, it may even have benefits for your business. Checkout our Community Allies page.
