Alexandra provides complimentary therapies to our our patients such as pilates and her smile is always an added tonic.

Claire offers complementary therapies to our patients such as massage and reiki, helping relax their minds as well as ease their bodies.
 

I first joined Rossendale Hospice in 2017 and since then created new events in the valley including the popular Gin ‘n’ Trek. I am known within the team for coming up with new and unique ideas to capture people’s imagination and help ensure that collectively, we raise enough funds to keep the hospice running.  
When not at my desk I'm an avid hicker and love going on treks with friends.

I am the Senior Fundraiser at the Hospice covering all aspects of Events & Corporate Fundraising. 

I am proud to work for the Hospice – raising money to provide care & support to those living in my community with a life limiting condition.

My job at the hospice is greeting visitors to the on their arrival. I'm responsible for the coordinating of volunteers within Rossendale Hospice too.

I provide administration support to the Counselling, Complimentary Therapy and the Wellbeing teams and during manager’s meetings.

As described by a colleague I am a “Girl Friday”.

I am avid reader. I enjoy doing crossword puzzles, knitting and socialising with friends and family. I enjoy a little bit of gardening attending to the pots and tubs as opposed to weeding and mowing, then chilling out in my summer house.

I process monies that come into the Hospice and also look after the finance for our 2 charity shops.

I was a volunteer when I started at the Hospice and I love anything crafty.

I oversee the finances for the Charity and produce the monthly Management Accounts.

I am a family orientated individual and love spending time with my husband and children playing board games, going on days out and visiting the park.

I coordinate the care for the Hospice at Home team, who provide Palliative care out in the Rossendale community.

I currently work part time for the Hospice around my two children, and like to spend any free time I have keeping busy outdoors, mountain biking, wild swimming and most recently climbing.
















Jen Vizzard

My role is part time, supporting our hardworking clinical team to provide palliative care in the patient’s home

When not coordinting appointments and arranging call backs and visits to our patients, I can be found getting out and about in our motorhome with the dogs
