A Message from Our Leadership
Mandy Tierney, CEO of Rossendale Hospice, said:
"We are absolutely thrilled with this spectacular total. This £13,292.97 will directly support patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses across Rossendale and the surrounding areas. As a charity, Rossendale Hospice receives only 25% of its funding from statutory sources, meaning we rely on donations, fundraising events, and the incredible generosity of our community to fund the remaining 75% needed to deliver our services. Support from events like the Rossendale Pride Awards is essential and helps ensure we can continue providing specialist care and support to those who need us most."
From Our Celebrity Ambassadors
Bob Daws and Ted Robbins added:
"It was an absolute honour to host, entertain, and celebrate the incredible people of Rossendale. The generosity in the room at Burnley Football Club was unmatched and raising over £13,000 shows just how deeply this community cares for its hospice."
Thank you, Rossendale, for standing with us and supporting local hospice care!
