Hours:    37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday

Salary:   £21,330.27 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Administrator to work at Rossendale Hospice.

Based in reception you will be working collaboratively with the CEO, Clinical Services Manager and Day Therapy Team to ensure that the service we provide to our patients is professional and to a high standard.

The role involves a wide range of administrative duties including the responsibility of managing activity and recording procedures in relation to staff and volunteer training; overseeing the reception area which is manned by volunteers; processing patient referrals; inputting patent information onto EMIS; booking of appointments; minute taking and general office duties.

A key part of this role also includes liaising with patients, relatives, medical, nursing and other stakeholders professionally, courteously and efficiently.

A confident communicator, at all levels with the ability to display outstanding customer care skills. Excellent keyboard skills with experience of working quickly and accurately whilst under pressure.
