Marketing and Events Assistant

Rossendale Hospice seeks a Marketing and Events Assistant to join on a temporary basis whilst we look at the future structure of the Fundraising Team. The successful candidate will provide support to the Fundraising Team and other departments including our retail shops.

This role will support the Head of Fundraising in aspects of online and offline marketing for the hospice and assisting committee led fundraising events.

Graphic design skills would be a distinct advantage. A large part of this role involves creating and scheduling social media content for the hospice.

Excellent IT skills are required to maintain the Hospices current website and be an integral part of our digital transformation as we invest into new technologies. You will work with suppliers, designers and printers where required.

To be considered, candidates must have marketing and/or events skills. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and have a pro-active approach.

This role will involve local travel; candidates must have access to their own transport.
