Rossendale Hospice has teamed up with Rossendale Radio to share some love across the Valley’s airwaves this Valentine’s Day. Rossendale Radio will host a Valentine’s Day special on 14th February 2021 between 1pm and 5pm. In return for a £10 donation, anyone can dedicate a song, along with a special message which will be aired live on Valentine’s Day. People may choose to make a dedication to their loved ones, or a friend or family member to let them know how much they are appreciated.
Ad Hoc Night Hospice at Home Palliative Support Workers
Caring for someone in the final weeks and months of their life is challenging and demanding, but it is also an uplifting and rewarding experience. People are at the very heart of everything we do, and we value the skills and experience of our staff in ensuring our patients and families receive safe, competent and supportive care.
Ad Hoc Palliative Support Workers provide overnight direct basic nursing care and support to patients and their families under the direction of a registered nurse. Having an understanding of the principles of palliative care would be beneficial.
