Andrew Lindsay walks Hadrians Wall in four days in support of the Hospice
A big thank you goes to Andrew Lindsay who back in July completed the 88 mile Hadrian's Wall trek along with his friend Ant. Andrew wanted to raise money for Rossendale Hospice while Ant raised money for a local children's Hospice. They managed to complete the challenge in four days and Andrew has raised an amazing £1202.36! Thank you to Andrew and all who donated!
Sean and Manuela Seymour celebrate their wedding and raise an amazing £2187.50
Last month, Sean & Manuela Seymour celebrated their beautiful wedding. Instead of asking for gifts, they asked their family & friends to donate to Rossendale Hospice in memory of Manuela's father William who sadly passed away. The generosity has been amazing and they have raised a fantastic £2187.50! Thank you very much to all who donated!
Crossfit Vita Ray raise an astounding £4494.08!
A huge THANK YOU to the team at Cross Fit Vita Ray for completing the Three Peaks Challenge earlier this month and raising an astounding £4494.08! This is fantastic amount of money and will go a long way in providing care and support to our patients.

Friends of the Hospice raise an amazing £621.20 by organising a Curry Night
In June, The Friends Group at Rossendale Hospice organised a Curry night at Anar Kali Restaurant. The evening was enjoyed by over 60 people and has raised a fantastic £621.20 for the Hospice. Thank you to the Friends and everyone who came to support the event.
Haslingden District Nurses Step up to the challenge!
Well done to the Haslingden District Nurses for raising a fabulous £554! In April the Nurses took part in our Steps Challenge, completing over 10,000 steps a day for a whole month!
Between them they have also been doing other fundraising such as making Happiness Kits and enjoying a Cheese & Wine evening resulting in them achieving a leaf on our Golden Tree. A big thank you to everyone involved!

Lauren-May Peacock's 10k Run
Well done to Lauren-May Peacock who successfully ran 10k in 1 hour 2 minutes last week. Lauren wanted to fundraise for the Hospice as her Grandma has been receiving our care and support. Despite the hot weather in her home country, she powered through and achieved her target! Thank you for raising a brilliant £1145.84!
Friends of the Hospice raise £350.54 at their Cake Sale
The Rossendale Hospice Friends Group held their Cake Sale at the Health Centre earlier this month raising a fantastic £350.54. Thank you to all the bakers who made and donated the delicious cakes and thank you to the ladies of Friends Group who organised and ran the sale! Well done!

St Thomas Musbury Refectory Cafe opened their doors once again in support of the Hospice
St Thomas' Church Refectory Café in Helmshore held their annual Coffee Morning in aid of the Hospice on Saturday 23rd February. A fantastic effort by all the volunteers who helped run the event. All the proceeds from the café, raffle and a book stall have been donated totalling £400 - thank you very much!
Irwell Medical Practice are taking on the Gung-Ho Challenge!
17 members of staff from Irwell Medical Practice have set themselves the challenge of completing the Gung-Ho challenge on the 29th June. They have chosen to support Rossendale Hospice and the money they raise will be donated to the Hospice. Gareth Whittaker Great North Run
Gareth Whittaker completed the Great North Run on the 9th of September. Gareth has set himself a 396 day challenge as well as training and completing the Great North Run.
